Nieuw album Ludacris 'Theater Of The Mind'

Rapper Ludacris heeft zijn zevende album 'Theater Of The Mind' uitgebracht. Het album bevat featurings van o.a. The Game, Nas, Chris Brown, Common, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, T.I en T-Pain. Ludacris smelt hiermee zijn muziek en acteer carriere samen in zijn album. De afgelopen tijd zat Luda niet stil buiten de muziekscene. Hij speelde namelijk in 2 films, 'Max Payne' en 'RocknRolla'. "That's why I call it Theater of the Mind, I provide the audio, and the rest is up to the listener's imagination."

Dirty South rapper en Grammy winaar Ludacris (aka Christopher Brian Bridges) is geboren op 11 september 1977 in Illinois en groeide op in Atlanta waar hij op Atlanta Hot 97 radio DJ werd. In 2000 bracht hij zijn single 'Whats Yours Fantasy' uit en later zijn zelf beheerde volledige album 'Incognegro'. In hetzelfde jaar tekende Def Jam president 'Scarface' Ludacris en brachten zij in October 2000 de tweede versie van 'Back For The First Time' uit.

In 2001 kwam zijn derde officiele album 'Word Of Mouf' uit met hitsingles: 'Area Codes' en 'Saturday Ooh Ooh'. In 2003 kwam zijn derde album 'Chicken -N- Beer' uit met hitsingle 'Act A Fool', dat ervoor zorgde dat hij een kleine rol kreeg in de film '2 Fast 2 Furious'. Vlak daarna volgde zijn vijfde album 'The Redlight District' dat vernoemd is naar de wereld beroemde Amsterdamse wallen. Inmiddels heeft Ludacris zijn naam gevestigd als een van heetste Dirty South rappers. Zijn vorige album 'Release Therapy' is door XXL Magazine vernoemd tot meest gewilde album van het jaar 2006.
